Art to me is synonymous to life: expressing thoughts and feeling in story. I believe that if a creation (purposefully formed) evokes a feeling or thought, it is art. I attempt to recreate the stories that form I my head.

Paintography/Paintery/Digital painting is a recently recognized and appreciated art form. One that combines the instant/frozen beauty of photography with the free-flowing randomness of painting. To describe my art…I would sum it up by simply daring to be different.

The purists of photography will have difficulty in accepting the transformations of my art, as will the painters who believe that only physical, manual brush strokes can truly be called painting. I hope to bring to your attention that Paintography has its rightful place in the art world. I leave that to you, the viewer, to look at and formulate your own individual interpretations.
